Look Stunning, Feel Confident
Bridal Tailoring / Alterations
We provide comprehensive wedding gown alteration and customization services for your own wedding dresses/gowns.
Whether you need to adjust the hem or take in the size, our skilled team will ensure that your gown is tailored to perfection for your big day.
A properly fitted gown should support and shape your bust, flatter your body’s contours, and be the perfect length—long enough to cover your shoes but short enough to avoid tripping. The last thing you need on your special day is to deal with a wardrobe malfunction.
To get a quotation, you may send us photos of your dress/gown. Alteration costs start from $80 for minimalist designs.
Do You Have a Question?
How do we charge?
Our alteration pricing starts from $80 per area of alteration. E.g. if we need to alter bust, waist and hips, it would be $80x3. This applies to minimalist dresses. This cost will vary depending on the complexity of the dress e.g. for laced and beaded pieces.
How many appointments do I need?
It depends on the extent of the alterations needed. For simpler alterations, only two appointments are needed: the initial fitting and the pickup appointment, which we will schedule during the first fitting.
Ideally, we recommend leaving a 2 week window between the pickup date and your wedding date, allowing time for any additional appointments if necessary.
What should i bring?
For your appointment you will need to bring your exact wedding shoes (substitutes, even with the same heel height are not recommended) plus any shapewear you plan on wearing with the dress.
I want to wear 2 different pairs of shoes on the day, will it affect the alterations?
We can only adjust the hem to suit one specific pair of shoes. Please note that even a slight difference in shoe height will impact how the hemline falls in relation to the floor. If your second pair of shoes is significantly shorter than the first, the hem may end up under your feet while walking or dancing; affecting your movement.
My dress is too small, will it be ok to alter?
The extent of alterations or major adjustments needed depends on the style and fit of your dress. If you're between sizes, we always recommend opting for the larger size, as it's much easier to take a dress in than to let it out, which isn't always possible.
Can someone else pick up the dress for me?
Although you can arrange for someone else to pick up your dress, we don’t recommend it. By picking it up yourself, you'll have the chance to try it on and ensure it fits perfectly before taking it home.
What if I'm not happy with the alterations?
Our top priority is ensuring our brides leave happy and satisfied! At each appointment, you'll have the chance to try on your dress. It's important to share how you're feeling and let us know if there are any concerns with the alterations, so we can address them promptly. We're here to help!
