Q. WHY SHOULD I WEAR A #WCGOWN ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Everything at WeddingCrafters is designed with Quality, Comfort & Style and Fit in mind.
QUALITY – We source for unique and quality laces and fabrics from all around the world. To top it off, our gowns are all locally designed – from sketch to silhouette, and lovingly handmade with the laces hand-sewn right here in our humble studio. We undergo intensive design processes to ensure the fit, feel and style of each dress is true to our signature WC style.
COMFORT & STYLE – We are driven by our passion to Design & Create. We are known for the way we layer/mix fabrics to construct dresses that are lightweight & comfortable. It is important that brides feel comfortable and confident on their most important day. Over the past 7 years, we have consistently launched new collections (every 4 months in fact!) to reflect ever-changing trends in the bridal industry.
FIT – We steer clear of corsetry and instead put in every effort to ensure your dress is the right fit & length. Being locally designed and made also means that our gowns cater to the Asian fit, with more accurate proportions e.g. torso length, length of gown etc. Our team of designers and seamstresses have many years of experience and have fitted hundreds of brides – you can rest assured that you’ll be in great hands!
Q. WHAT ARE THE GOWN RATES?
For ala-carte off the rack rental for all our gowns (including evening gowns/cheongsams), our prices are:
1 gown – $1,290
2nd gown +$990
3rd gown +$890
Unless otherwise stated for special promotional offers, our standard rental packages ensure that you have the flexibility to pick any gown from our existing collections. We also invite all #WCBrides to come back for a VIP Launch for each new collection – this is where existing brides get first dibs in viewing the new collections. It’s perfectly normal to change your mind – at WeddingCrafters we allow for the changing of your gown design up to 2 months before your PW/AD date (subject to availability).
Q. CAN I CUSTOMISE THE DESIGN OF MY DRESS?
Minor adjustments such as adding a little lace to cover a plunging neckline is definitely doable. Just communicate to our Designers before your fitting. However, if you find yourself always thinking, ‘if only this was in a V neckline’, or ‘if this had a sparkly base, it would be perfect!’ – you might be better off with a bespoke piece! Speak to our team and we can guide you through the bespoke process. For brides who are looking to embark on the bespoke journey, please remember to buffer enough time – as a guide, a lead time of at least 4 – 6 months would be ideal!

Q. WHAT SIZES DO YOU CARRY?
In general, our gowns can be altered to fit between UK6-10. As a gauge the gowns can be altered up to the following measurements:
Mermaid/fitted gowns: Bust: 35″, Waist: 30″, Hip: 40″
A Line gowns: Bust: 35″, Waist: 30″
Q. I’M A PETITE BRIDE, DO YOU PROVIDE LENGTH ALTERATION?
Yes of course! Our standard alteration process includes hemming up of the front length for all gowns, regardless of the heel height – this means even if you are wearing sneakers, the gowns will be floor length in front when we are done.
No holding, kicking the gowns, or wearing a can-can.
Q. WHERE CAN I TRY ON YOUR GOWNS?
Click here to make an appointment to try your shortlisted pieces! Our Designers aren’t just there to help you in and out of the dresses, they are there to give you honest advice and recommendations based on your body shape, skin tone, venue/type of wedding etc.
